Short story

As I entered my freshman art class their was this man with dusty glasses, shabby hair, and a shirt with a missing button. At first I thought this is some kind of joke and I never took the guy seriously. But the moment he shown us the different forms of lines and and how different type of lines could make just one painting different it amazed me. We obviously didn't know that a line with diferent texture or pressure on a pencil would make our painting different. Unfortunately a handful of the class knew this but the rest not so much.

The art teacher took his job seriously but his assertive attitude towards the class died down once we hit October. We started watching videos and doing "observational" drawings from the clips. Then December came along we did this one contour drawing of urban buildings with great height and it lasted to January to February. Once the school year was ending he talked about his emotional turmoils and unbelievable lectures about being a cartoonist and how serious it was to him. I attempted to do comic strips with the guy he didn't like them and he took my art work never returned them but came back looking happier the next day . So I just went to doing that required a more serious aproach were theirs more than lines involved and monochromatic which is designing buildings or as we like to call it today Architecture. In Architecture Height is required to be known along with perspective. But with out a plan this is all useless  The Architect has to do at least five sketches when planning. So even though this man or Teacher was the way he was he taught me or I find my way to understand the principals of graphics design. It also requires  scale, proportion, and measurement of space and some math geometry, calculus, and to analyze its volume. Now im no genius but im sure that is correct anyone who thinks otherwise please correct me. Eventually I learned quite a few from the man about negative space and weight. This applies a great amount of detail in drawing. Never underestimate the teacher. Till this day I use the skills taught to me  and I will never leave astray  the patterns, and the amount of space left on a paper.

PLEASE IF ITS NOT TO MUCH TO ASK COMMENT (this was a short story assignment non-fiction)

Blog questions AKA Graphic design questions

1. why were you asked to create a blog for graphic design?

1)   I have been asked to to create a blog for graphic design to express who I am and to express what I like in a creative way. Also when creating a blog not only others get to see myself express my self but they may also give an input on what they think of my blog and critque. once my blog is crituqed by others then it shows my weaknesses allowing me to change them into strengths.

2.how can designing and writing a blog help you with your career, college, and your future?

2)   Designing and writting a blog could help me with my career allowing those who favor the same intrest as me to relate, and in a way network with individuals who like the same career. When in college this blog can help with being able to network with my peers or collegues and share ideas to have a diferent view of how everyone sees just one thing. For example physcologist would throw the same abstract drawing but would recieve a different answer from each patient. So its a proven fact that everyone doesnt see everything the same. This blog would help me in my future well I do not know how but the future is unpredictable and anything could happen. If this blog was to continue I want nothing more from this blog but to do great things, meet great people, and possibly make a great change in this world. who knows? All in all this blog with the help of followers would go big  if their still reading this Blog then their is someone out their that understands how important this one Blog can be.

3. how are blogs used and by whom?

3) Blogs are used to accentuate ones expression and logic of life and ethics. This is something that is essential in blogs because if these qualities are not in a blog then the blog is no different from wikipedia. But even the wikipedia would have valuable information and have different answers that satisfies the question. A blog would be used by a person who wants to network or follow a famous company, person, and career etc. Blogs are a really creative way for people to express themselves and let millions of other people around the world to see what the blog has to offer.

4.can a blog be finicially succesful?

4) A blog can be absolutely be finacially succesfull only if the blog is being sponsored by a major company. For example this Blog here about the way Architects see or percieve their environment could be finicially succesful if i had been Blogging for a construction company or an Architecture firm.

5.can a blogger earn money from their efforts?

5)Once again if the Blog that is being used for the use of a company the blogger would recieve money from their efforts. The blogger must be etiquette and most of all creative and unique in his or her work, inorder to be noticed and recieve his or her money's worth of the job that their doing. When their isnt money then dont worry about it just blog for the heck of it!
